Standing 10.5 feet tall, this geodesic dome enclosure is our entry level dome, suitable for use as a miniature greenhouse, a fancy home for a pet, or creative human enclosure. A true dodecahedron with five oversized steel ground mounting plates, this structure is sure to impress with its imposing presence. With a tiny footprint of less than 8 feet in diameter, it reveals a spacious spherical interior of 2800 cubic feet (80 cubic meters) of usable volume with a just shy of 12 foot diameter span at eye level.

Optional polycarbonate or glass panel kit includes the panels, silicone weather stripping, and mounting bracket mechanisms to turn the simple frame into a fully enclosed miniature oasis.

Cladding Options

• The unit can be purchased as a bare frame or with the panel mounting kit.
• Panels are held tightly on the round tubes using 'glass holding brackets' that clamp the tubes and push downwards onto the panels from the exterior.
• The panels rest on high quality platinum cured silicone gaskets specially shaped to support the panels, are UV proof and withstand all temperature extremes.

Panel Material Options

• 25mm Insulated Polycarbonate: this option provides the highest insulation of R4 utilizing four layer honeycomb pattern multi-layer greenhouse polycarbonate panels. The kit comes with 11 pentagon panels to clad the entire structure. The bottom five panels have pre-cut openings for the 'feet'. An entrance can be cut in your desired shape using a saw or hot melting plastic cutting knife. These panels have 75% light transmission and are translucent, but not see-through.
• 8mm Clear Polycarbonate: if a clear view from the outside or inside is part of your vision, select the clear polycarbonate option. Clear PC sheet has a lower insulation value than the insulated kind. It will heat up faster during the day and loose heat quicker at night. The kit comes with 11 pentagon panels to clad the entire structure. The bottom five panels have pre-cut openings for the 'feet'. An entrance can be cut in your desired shape using a saw or hot melting plastic cutting knife. These panels have 90% light transmission and are translucent, but not see-through.
• 9mm (4+0.76+4) Low-E Glass: for the ultimate luxury, annealed safety glass with an infrared reflecting coating offers the greatest scratch resistance, mechanical strength. It is notably heavier than the polycarbonate options. Glass kit comes with 10 panels — skip one of the five lower pentagons for the opening.
